Connect your product catalog to WhatsApp, manage products with the API, and send single-product, multi-product and carousel messages.
A catalog is the list of products you sell on WhatsApp. Customers can browse it inside the chat, add items to a cart and send you an order.
Before you start
Your catalog lives in Meta's Commerce Manager and must be connected to your WhatsApp Business Account. HostMentor support can help you connect it. Then:
- Retrieve your catalog ID.
- Add products with Create, update or delete products, or in Commerce Manager. Each product has your own ID for it, the
retailer_id(your SKU). - Show products in messages: a single product, a product list, a product carousel, or a catalog or multi-product template. See Send a message.
When a customer sends a cart, your webhook receives an incoming message of type order. It lists each product_retailer_id, the quantity and the price.
